From Moira to Ballyclare the route is wide and relatively flat. It passes through some small villages and over a number of small climbs on what is quite a lumpy road. After turning westwards in the village of Maherahoney the route travels along a straight road which is followed by a few turns to bring you past the ‘The Dark Hedges’, more recently known as ‘The Kings Road’ in Game of Thrones.
